QUALITY ASSURANCE

Aircraft Ducting Repair’s Quality Assurance (QA) Department is responsible for all materials, components and technical data received by the repair station. QA performs all incoming, progressive and final inspections. An incoming inspection assures that all materials received conform to the requirements of ADR’s purchase order and that proper documentation is supplied. Progressive inspections are performed during component overhaul/repair for adherence to Original Equipment Manufacturer’s (OEM) and/or customer specifications, as well as a recurrent training technique. A final inspection is performed on all components, verifying compliance with all specifications, prior to shipment. Only FAA certified personnel perform final inspections at ADR.

In addition to incoming, progressive and final inspections, ADR routinely conducts supplier audits in accordance with its Quality Assurance Manual. QA also conducts internal audits reviewing compliance with ADR’s internal procedures.

The technical library is controlled and maintained current at all times by the QA Department. Customer supplied manuals, engineering orders and any other data approved by the administrator is available to all personnel requiring such data. The ADR technical library contains over 40 OEM manuals and numerous customer manuals including Airworthiness Directives, Component Maintenance Manuals, Duct Repair Manuals, Federal Aviation Regulations, Engineering Orders, Material Specification Standards, Non-Destructive Testing Manuals, Overhaul Manuals, Process Standards, Standard Practice Manuals, Service Bulletins and Structural Repair Manuals.

Its customers and the Federal Aviation Administration audit ADR at least annually.

Aircraft Ducting Repair’s Quality Assurance system consists of 14 manuals including Quality Assurance Procedures, Personnel Training Records, Key Personnel Records, Equipment Calibration Records, Penetrant Inspection Procedures, Standard Forms Records, Anti-Drug Plan/Anti-Alcohol Misuse Procedures, Employee Signature Records, Employee Training Procedures, Customers Audit Records, Internal Audit Records, Vendor and Supplier Audit Records, Inspection System Procedures, Repair Specifications Manual and EASA Supplemental Procedures.
